Let's talk about good health and well-being!
Good health and well-being begin with self-love. The issues I’m currently facing with my health are stretching my faith and challenging me to care for myself in deeper, more intentional ways. And I realized it starts with declaring victory amid the storm.
This season hasn’t just been physical — it’s been spiritual. It has caused me to slow down, to listen to my body, and to lean into God like never before. My father told me, “The journey you’re on is going to help perfect your ministry.” When he said that, my soul felt at ease. A sense of peace washed over me. Because I know that whatever I walk through isn’t just for me — it’s so I can one day say, “What a mighty God I serve, and He has done it for me, He can and will do for you.”
Health and wellness isn’t just about green smoothies and gym memberships. It’s about surrender. It’s about stewardship. This involves inviting God into your healing journey and placing your trust in Him for every intricate detail of your being.
True health, to me, is living an Acts 17:28 kind of life — “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” That verse centers my heart every time. It reminds me that my life, my breath, my strength, and even my healing all flow from Him. When I begin there — grounded in Him — everything else finds its proper place.
So today, I encourage you to take the first step toward your health and wellness — and begin with the One who created you. Seek Him first. Declare victory, even if you’re still walking through the valley. Care for your body as an act of worship.
This is the health and wellness I want to partake in.
Cheers to great health, my friends.
